Herge has written a large series of books about Tintin which I have read, including the first volume. Once in class we were discussing graphic novels and we looked at Tintin. So I decided to read the whole series. After reading tons of Herge’s books I have made a study of “Tintinology”.
I have read a lot of online resources on Herge and I am planning to visit the Herge Museum.

In the first volume, Tintin takes a trip to the Soviet Union in its start around 1930. He doesn’t really speak russian and has difficulties explaining himself to people, though there are no direct signs to interaction difficulties. Some russian language is included in the comic such as shop names, people talking, screams, people swearing.

Definetly giving a 5.0 out of 5.0 for the book! Thanks to Herge.
