This book starts off great and becomes better when the super sad ending changes everything. That’s why the book is divided into 2 parts: Before and After. Please read it since it’s really worth it. (WARNING: You might cry if you are emotional.)

Very emotional and inspiring. Three things I learned from reading this book:
    1- Never drink and drive
2- Always call the ambulance when someone gets injured
3- Always to forgive people. (It makes both you and the other person feel better and people would think you are a very nice person and befriend with you and respect you. HAVING A SOFT HEART IN A HARD WORLD IS COURAGE, NOT WEAKNESS.

Looking for Alaska, written by John Green, is a inspiring and extremely touching novel that caught my attention from the beginning of the first page. It is based on the story of Miles “Pudge”, who is obsessed with last words. Pudge’s search of a great perhaps, he makes new friends and discovers himself. He launches into a rebellious world of Culver Creek Boarding School, he only looks out for one thing—his great perhaps. In the end, he meets the end with an understanding of life and death with bittersweet memories.
John Green’s use of language makes the story quite realistic and undeniably beautiful. He draws the reader’s attention using catchy and splashy words and lines. I found myself laughing and crying, both at the same time while reading this book.
