This is the best book I have ever had in years. It turned out how can best friends also be lovers. It is amazing how two very different people can be together so well, and how does time change nothing. It discusses about homosexuality and racism. And it is a very sweet story.
Read this book competition
In the latest of the night,
When everyone is asleep,
The boy drifted too, on his pillow wet from tears.
In his dreams,
His furrowed eyebrows softened,
His traces of tears dried,
His fingernail were loosen from the sheets.
And he smiled the sweetest little smile,
Because of love.
In the deepest of the day,
When everyone is high,
The boy was too, drinking on his car in the desert.
In-between his bottles,
His loneliness drifted,
His anger got washed away,
His blood from the scar dried,
And he laughed the happiest short laughter,
Because of love.
Love.
Full of love.
And loveliest of all, our world is full of love.
Our world is full of different types of love. And this story is one of those billions and billions. Love is like the sky, the milky-way twinkling with the deepest of our emotions and bond between people. Everyday, we raise our eyes and we see the sweetest thing. It makes people smile in their sleep, it makes the morning roses beautiful, and it colors the rainbow. Being in love is the most beautiful experience, and even at times you don’t realize it.
But what if the love you found is hated by the world?
This book discusses that issue. In our nowadays world, there are a lot controversy about gay rights. And writing about this book is a huge risk too. But this book is to beautiful to be hidden behind the curtain of prejudice. People in life call gay wrong, call gay sick, call anything like that disgusting and twisted. With internet the hatred flows, and they never thought of how life would be like for them.
In this story, there are two very different boys, so very different. They became friends in the most unlikely of all situation, Dante trying to teach Aristotle how to swim. They became best friends and helped each other out in issues, in problems, in the harshest of all thing that can happen. They played together, they went through trouble together and they fought together too. Little by little, they discovered that each other meant more than just some friend.
Sometimes in life, we are just too blind to see if we love another person. And when you do, it is like sunshine shine down from the clouds. It is like a cup of iced water in a hot summer day.
This book is simple and soft, with a fast pacing story and it grab your attention every page. It whispers next to your ears and when you close your eyes, you see it come live in front of you. It is beautiful like a painting, and that is why you should read this book.
Dear judge: please do NOT just hate this and throw my review away if your are against freedom of love thanks
