Ender’s Game is an amazing piece of work. In The Ender Quartet, this book is the most action packed. Speaker of the Dead (book 2), Xenocide (Book 3), and Children of the Mind were more about thoughts and such, but nonetheless this series remains compelling throughout the books. Ender’s Game is a rather inspiring book for those who never really ‘fit in’ with everyone else. In Ender’s Game, Ender is faced against obstacles many of us face today-Despair, bullying, fear, and as such.

I didn’t really like how ‘mature’ Ender seemed when the novel began. He was only six, but he had the maturity, if not more, of a 12 year old. This book is quite dark, and the film was toned down a bit. Some decisions considered by Ender and other characters seemed a bit unrealistic, but with its faults, it is an enjoyable read. Some parts are a bit difficult to understand, but, however, this book has a great plot. In later works, the theme is reminiscent of games like Halo, but this was published before any such game. II didn’t like how Ender became 20 in Speaker of the Dead. I feel as though the author should have described or elaborated on what happened after the events of Ender’s Game.
This book capitalizes on deception, and the role it plays in human nature. It also demonstrates the devastating effects of misunderstandings during the encounters of aliens, and the reaction we (humans) would take.

Book review of Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card

I read the book “Ender’s Game”previously, it is basically telling a story as this:

There was a special kid that had been chosen to be the greatest fighter in the whole history of the world in that time. It is because in that era, some murderous aliens(or bugger in the book)invaded earth and the human race is nearly going to an extinction, he was always discriminated as a third, or a freak caused by his late deinstallation of his monitor on his spine. Despite all the difficulties in his life, he trained in the soldier training academy and stopped the aliens from total takeover of the earth, and the world returned to peace.

I think it is a very deep and thoughtful book, because Ender didn’t actually solve the problem between the two species with violence, but he consulted with the queen of the aliens. The aliens agreed to leave earth and leave them in peace. So this means, the way to solve problems would not be violence; violence is blind attacks but with strategy, it is a planned defence rather than violence.
