The reptile room. It’s more interesting than its shows on the books cover or title. I can see that the author, Lemony Snicket warns the readers about reading the book. Even though it’s the second book, it was quite depressing, it may be happy in the start, but then Count Olaf known as “Stephano” comes back to take over the Baulderine fortune, with his wicked plans. Uncle Monty, their new, nice guardian is more than important than any thing. Enduring a lot of tries to get killed, the three orphans keep themselves safe. I like the interesting vocabulary in the book, as well as its length.
The reptile room is the second book in the series of unfortunate events by Lemony Snicket. This book is about the Baudelaire orphans Violet, Klaus and Sunny have been send to live with their second nice relative, their uncle Monty. The orphans thought they will finally get rid of Count Olaf, their first relative which is evil and he want to take their fortune away, but the truth is Count Olaf will come back to their life again, he disguise as “Stephano”, come to their uncle’s house and live there to be his assistant. Only the orphans knows the truth, but nobody believes them. Count Olaf murdered their dear uncle Monty, everybody except the orphans think their uncle’s death is because of a very poison snake that bit him, because their uncle love snakes and he collect a lot of them, and put the in the reptile room, and that’s exactly where he died. When everybody finally figure out the truth, Count Olaf escape with his henchmen who pretend his is the coroner. After all of these mess they have been sent to another relative which is in the next book of the series. Well, I think these book is very interesting, but if you always want heroes to win, you better don’t read these series of books.
